Anushka Sharma is leaving no stone unturned to promote her upcoming film Phillauri which also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada.

After giving away two secrets surrounding Katrina Kaif’s popular song Sheila Ki Jawani as part of #ShashiWasThere memes, the actress’s latest target is Shah Rukh Khan.

In a comical video, Shashi’s (Anushka’s character in Phillauri) spirit heads to Mannat to meet her idol, Shah Rukh Khan.

The actress posted the video on Twitter and captioned it as, “Bhoot hoon! Apni superpowers use karke Mannat mein ghus toh gayi! Pata hai wahan kya hua? #ShashiWasThere @iamsrk http://bit.ly/ShashiAtMannat (sic).”

The clip begins with the superstar confessing that he does not believe in ghosts when strange noises begin to fill the room. After repeatedly dismissing them as mere ‘noises’ Shah Rukh is taken aback when Shashi reveals that she in indeed there in spirit.

The two indulge in a hilarious banter and the video concludes with Shah Rukh kissing the spirit.



On the professional front, SRK will next be seen in the yet untitled Imtiaz Ali film, which features Anushka Sharma opposite him. The two actors are collaborating for the third time after Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The film hits theatres on August 11.

Anushka Sharma’s upcoming venture Phillauri is touted as a fun-filled romantic film is set in Phillaur (Punjab) and is the actress’s second home production after NH 10, which was applauded by critics and audiences alike.

Phillauri reflects shades of drama, craziness and has some really interesting characters. It’s got essence of romance, fun and at the same time is very intriguing. The film is slated to release on March 24.
